Simon is a Partner, Executive Search, for Amrop Knightsbridge in Calgary. Prior to joining Amrop Knightsbridge, he ran his own management consulting firm, based in Calgary, providing strategic marketing, human resources and organizational performance consulting services to businesses and NFPs across several industry sectors in Canada, the United States and South America.His career history includes over 30 years in the competitive telecommunications and global electronics industry. Simon had a distinguished career with TELUS Corporation, where he held a variety of executive roles including founder of the successful Small Business Solutions Division and as Senior Vice President, Business Marketing, responsible for all national business brand and customer/segment marketing.Simon has previous experience in executive search with Coopers & Lybrand in the engineering, natural resources and manufacturing sectors.He is a graduate of Queens University in Ontario and the University of Calgary. He holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science/ Economics and an MBA in Marketing.Simon is actively involved with a variety of community based organizations and Boards in Calgary, including as 2010 Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, Director on the Innovate Calgary Board, a Member of the External Review Team (ERT) for the Alberta Premier’s Awards of Excellence, past Director on the TELUS Community Board, and several business advisory councils. Mr. Vincent was also co-chair for the 2010 Mayor’s Evening for Business and the Arts. He is a member of the Canadian Marketing Association.Simon is married and has two daughters. They are very active with outdoor pursuits and reside in Calgary.
