For ten years prior to selling out of the firm in 2010, Mark was a Partner in the Executive Search Practice with Conroy Ross Partners, where he led a successful practice with a number of oil and gas, oil service, pipeline, construction and not for profit clients. Mark continues to focus in these industry sectors with Amrop Knightsbridge, at the mid to senior management levels.
A graduate of the University of Alberta and the Management Development Program at the University of Western Ontario, Mark managed Human Resources, Safety and Corporate Services with Home Oil Company Limited, and subsequently held consulting and leadership roles with Towers Perrin and Right Management Consultants.
Mark currently sits on the Boards of Aspen, one of Calgary's largest child and family service agencies; and the Children's Cottage, which offers respite, crisis and interim shelter services to children and families. He also acts in a volunteer and advisory capacity to the United Way of Calgary and Area. Married for 33 years, Mark has an adult son and daughter.
